About Neomed- Labs

Neomed-Labs is a North American based Contract Research Organisation offering high-quality clinical immunology laboratory services.

They serve pharmaceutical corporations, biotechnology companies, and healthcare / non-profit organizations with extensive expertise in delivering quality readouts for the clinical development of vaccines and immunotherapies.

We interviewed the two employees that implemented Binocs to plan their laboratory capacity to gather their feedback.

Why did you select Binocs for your capacity management planning?

Binocs provides better visibility of incoming demand and corresponding workload compared to the Excel file that was previously used. Moreover, the out of the box scenario functionality allows us to resolve capacity issues before they are encountered.

How did you approach the implementation?

We followed training courses via the Binocs academy which provided clear information on the use of the application. In addition, we had access to a Binocs showcase environment to test and familiarize ourselves with the application.

Once we were autonomous using Binocs, we performed the setup of our projects into Binocs ourselves. Binocs is user-friendly, therefore, an IT expert is not required to administer the system.

A Binocs expert was always available to respond to our questions and provided assistance to configure the application for our needs.

What are you most satisfied with?

  • Minimal effort required for master data input
  • Following feedback from users, Binocs is regularly updated to optimize the application
  • The reporting tool is extremely powerful and versatile

Next steps?

We are currently using Binocs for the mid and long-term capacity planning. The next step is to implement the Binocs scheduling module to plan the daily activities for the laboratory personnel.
